Handbuild Your Own Mug
This beginner-friendly program will walk students through using clay slabs to hand build your own pottery mug. Learn tips & tricks from practicing artist, Casey, and create your own fancy food safe mug. Seating is limited. Students will be notified when their mug is ready to pick up, usually 4-6 weeks after class. No prior experience required!
Casey Davey is a lifelong artist and a full-time mom of two little ones. Casey started as a wheel potter, but has loved the accessibility and diversity of projects that hand-building has brought into her world. Seeing people connect to themselves and with others through clay is something she is passionate about.

Secret City Scrappers (Junk Journal Club)
Bring your journal, paper, stickers, scraps, etc., and join others who enjoy Junk Journaling. Don't have materials or don't know how to begin? Have no fear, this club is run by Leila, our resident Junk Journaling instructor. She'll have materials available for sale and her skills (available for free)!
Zentangle (1st Friday of the Month)

It is designed to be a relaxing and intuitive process, where the focus is on mindfulness and creativity rather than achieving a specific outcome. Zentangle art typically uses simple, repetitive shapes like lines, dots, curves, and orbs to create complex and visually appealing designs.
Silent Reading
Silent reading nights are social gatherings where participants come together to read independently and silently. These clubs focus on creating a shared, quiet space for reading, allowing members to enjoy their books while benefiting from a communal environment.

Small Business Owners - Let’s get warm, cozy and caffeinated at January's Small Business Brews & Issues, to be hosted at Calamity’s Coffee on Thursday, 1/16 from 5-6PM. Join our Small Business Council for conversations surrounding social media, fueled by hot brewed beverages and delicious baked goods.
Small Business Brews & Issues is a new monthly opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals wanting to grow and overcome common small business issues through shared failures, successes, and ideas. We hope to create an environment of mentorship, support, and thought-provoking conversations. These meetups will be held on the 3rd Thursday at alternating locations, with a pre-determined conversation starter.
